Iron-Man challenge brings donations of over £10k for hospital charity

I'm John Warburton with news that a father from Epping has completed the Iron Man challenge to raise funds for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at an NHS hospital in Essex. Osteopath Neil Rowe, whose two sons, born prematurely, were cared for by the unit, swam 2.4 miles in open water, cycled 112 miles and ran a full marathon to raise money. The challenge has so far raised nearly £13,000 including Gift Aid, to help the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow care for very ill newborns, and buy specialist equipment.
