Inspirational because not only is she deaf and blind but during Covid has spent a total of 17 months in hospital herself including 23 stays in intensive care
I'm Alistair Clarke with news that inspirational Alexandra Adams is finally back at medical school in Cardiff where she’s a trainee doctor. Inspirational because not only is she deaf and blind but during Covid has spent a total of 17 months in hospital herself including 23 stays in intensive care, had sepsis 7 times in a year and is on 24-hour oxygen. She’s now doing medical placements at the hospital that gave her the long-term care. She tells the BMA magazine ‘my life is definitely not boring'.
