I’m Paul Hutton with news that an improvement project at Barts Hospital NHS Trust has cut the number of missed appointments by more than half. 
The ultrasound team addressed the issue of “Did Not Attends”, exploring why patients missed appointments and testing solutions including a customer service system called Netcall that allows the booking team to accept calls wherever they’re working, and text message reminders of appointments as well as an option to cancel if unable to attend.
