‘I Live With Dementia’ campaign launched to support unpaid carers

The aim being to signpost people to the charity’s support through its dementia specialist Admiral Nurses

I’m Matt Rosser keeping you up to date with news that the emotional impact on those who support people with dementia is the subject of a new campaign by Dementia UK. With a recent survey showing over two thirds of unpaid family carers saying it took ‘all their energy’, and over 80% admitting they find it difficult to switch off, the campaign has been launched to signpost people to the charity’s support through its dementia specialist Admiral Nurses. We’ll keep you up to date on this and other developments, here on Care Radio.
