I’m Matt Rosser with news that latest NHS figures show that General Practice is at ‘Breaking Point’ according to the Royal College of GPs. Prof Martin Marshall, Chair of the Royal College said that doctors were burning out and struggling to manage an escalating workload. There are 2,000 fewer doctors now than in 2015 despite pledges by the Government to recruit more. The Department of Health and Social Care says a record number of doctors started training as GPs last year. For more care news stay with us here at Care Radio.
