I'm John Warburton with news that Britain’s official public spending watchdog says the NHS plan to cut the longest waiting times is at “serious risk” of failure. The National Audit Office’s new critical report, released yesterday, says funding is being “eroded by inflation”. Threats also include the effects of strain on the workforce, and other pressures on adult social care.
