Farmers receive extra mental healthcare outreach

A new stress check-up and other support particularly for farmers in Northern Ireland has gone on-line

I’m John Warburton, with an update on additional ways that farmers can reach out to mental healthcare professionals. Care for people working in agriculture, particularly mental healthcare, has been a major national cause  for concern for decades. This week, a new stress check-up and other support particularly for farmers in Northern Ireland has gone on-line. It’s confidential, and free to use, and comes from the Health and Safety Executive and agricultural partners. The website is farm-in-mind.co.uk  We’ll keep you up-to-date on this and other developments, here on Care Radio.
