1200 postcards have been delivered to Whitehall by families of those with Parkinson’s related dementia
I’m Alistair Clarke with news that 1200 postcards have been delivered to Whitehall by families of those with Parkinsons related dementia, calling for better social care. One carer, John Bewley from the North East had both his mum and dad with the condition and says he couldn’t find any training available in how to support them for either himself or the paid-for carers. The government pledged £500 million to upskill social care in the UK.
