Eating a Mediterranean diet could be more effective in tackling depression among young men than therapy.

I’m Paul Hutton with news that eating a Mediterranean diet could be more effective in tackling depression among young men than therapy. A clinical trial in Sydney, is the first to assess the impact of a Mediterranean diet – which consists of fresh fruit and vegetables, and fish and grains – on young men’s mental health. The findings suggest that doctors should recommend patients see a nutritionist or dietician as part of their treatment plan.
