The UK Health Security Agency advice includes taking a lateral flow test and staying at home if you feel unwell with a high temperature or flu-like symptoms. Dr Charlotte Bigland, Consultant in Health Protection at UKHSA, said: “It’s still advisable to wear a mask if you are indoors or if you are mixing with lots of people or on public transport”, adding that the best protection against COVID-19 is to get fully vaccinated.
