Charity seeks advice from carers in Scotland

The Coalition of Carers in Scotland is this week launching its appeal for new members of its “Lived Experience Experts Panel”

I'm John Warburton with news that a charity supporting carers in Scotland wants advice from carers themselves, about how to design the country’s new National Care Service. The Coalition of Carers in Scotland is this week launching its appeal for new members of its “Lived Experience Experts Panel”. Among other topics, it’ll be asked about how best to ensure patients’ and carers’ rights are being upheld, ways to keep social care support local, and how to show care workers that they’re valued. If you’d like to find out more, there’s information on Carersnet.org.
