Carers’ Resource says its work now includes running groups and activities through the winter including warm places for carers to meet and share experiences
I'm John Warburton with news that new support for unpaid carers during the cost-of-living crisis is coming from a charity in Yorkshire. The group, called Carers’ Resource, says its work now includes running groups and activities through the winter including warm places for carers to meet and share experiences. Charity resources include a directory of financial help available to carers, practical ways to save energy, and details of local clothes and food banks. Chief Exec Chris Whiley says if information isn’t immediately available from the website, carers are welcome to make personal contact with the charity’s trained advisers. Carers’ Resource supports unpaid carers in Bradford, Craven, Harrogate and Selby districts. For more care related stories stay with us here at Care Radio.
