Carers UK shared photographs of marathon finishers who’d helped the charity, and promised training advice for anyone intending to try future events
I'm John Warburton with news that success in yesterday’s London Marathon has promoted a charity supporting unpaid carers to encourage more amateur runners to help people who don’t get a salary for their caring work. On Sunday afternoon, Carers UK shared photographs of marathon finishers who’d helped the charity, and promised training advice for anyone intending to try future events. The charity says joining Team Carers involves no minimum amount for fundraising. Forthcoming races the charity is focussing on include next Sunday’s Royal Parks Half Marathon, and the London Landmarks Half Marathon in April next year.
