I’m Matt Rosser with news that four residents in a Surrey care home have got together to organise breakfast and baby hampers for families hit by the cost-of-living crisis. Kings Lodge Care Home resident Valarie Ward saw a news report about primary school children are coming to class hungry, and decided to do something about it. So along with fellow residents Margaret Smith, Colin Primrose and Jean Spiller she decided to put together the hampers sending care staff to the supermarket with a shopping list of essentials.For more care news stay with us here at Care Radio.
