I'm John Warburton with news that a retired Major General is reportedly nearing the end of a year-long thousand-mile challenge to raise money for the care charity he chairs. According to veteran care provider Royal Star and Garter, Tim Tyler’s cross-trainer exercise is set to pass 1,100 miles, despite other commitments including recovery from Covid getting in the way. The charity looks after veterans and their partners affected by disability or dementia. Tim’s twelve months are up on February the 25th.
