Cancer trials funded in Newcastle

Pioneering work to help find cures for as-yet untreatable cancers is getting £2.7million pounds

I’m Alistair Clarke with news that pioneering work in Newcastle to help find cures for as-yet untreatable cancers is getting £2.7million pounds. The partnership between Newcastle University and Newcastle Hospitals NHS Trust will carry out clinical trials using new drugs and therapies. The work is under the watchful eye of Professor Ruth Plummer who runs the Sir Bobby Robson Cancer Research Centre. For more care news, stay with us here on Care Radio.
