NHS Digital has admitted the health service hasn’t found the “right balance”between online and in-person appointments after the pandemic

Before Covid, around 80 per cent of GP appointments were face-to-face, but it’s now less than two out of three. Health bosses say it improves efficiency, but Dr Shera Chok told Cheltenham Science Festival there’s still work to do to ensure people aren’t excluded.
