Assistive Technology in Suffolk saves millions

According to data from the Cassius partnership, there were 118 avoided ambulance call-outs in the last year, saving around 170 hospital days

I’m Matt Rosser with news that a partnership launched in July 2021 to provide digital care technology to people in Suffolk says it has saved £4.2 million in social care. Cassius - a partnership between Suffolk County Council, Alcove and Rethink Partners - has provided over 2,600 pieces of assistive technology. According to data from the Cassius partnership, there were 118 avoided ambulance call-outs in the last year, saving around 170 hospital days and highlighting the benefits of digital care technologies. For more care related stories stay with us here at Care Radio
