Army to help SW Ambulance service with callouts.

People in the South West and other parts of the country are being asked to only call 999 in life-threatening situations

I'm Matt Jones with news that the army is being drafted in to help South Western Ambulance Service with call outs during their strike action this week. People in the South West and other parts of the country are being asked to only call 999 in life-threatening situations. For situations that are not life-threatening, you should use the NHS 111 online service, or by using the phone. Anyone needing to come to a hospital or clinic should make their own transport arrangements. For more care stories, stay with us here on Care Radio.
