A survey of research shows music improves health-related life quality

Listening to music, or playing or singing, can improve quality of life for those with chronic pain, cardiovascular disease or cancer

I'm John Warburton with news that new scientific research shows that listening to music, or playing or singing, can improve quality of life for people including those with chronic pain, cardiovascular disease or cancer. Researchers in Hannover looked at 26 clinical studies across 13 countries. The scientists discovered patients being cared for had significant increases in their quality of life related to health.The studies included control groups, without musical additions to their lives.
