5,000-mile run for armed services' mental health charity

Raising money for Head Up – a mental health charity for services personnel and veterans

I’m John Warburton with news that a former British Army soldier is set to run 5,000 miles around the UK coastline for a mental health charity. Paul Minter was a reconnaissance soldier for 18 years, including five tours in Afghanistan and Iraq, but PTSD led to a medical discharge. Now, he’s raising money for Head Up – a mental health charity for services personnel and veterans. From this month, he’ll try to run the length of 192 marathons. We’ll keep you up-to-date on this and other developments, here on Care Radio.
