£3m social care incentives pilot opens in Wolverhampton

It works through a free app called “Better Health: Rewards”, which allocates rewards to users who achieve healthy goals

I'm John Warburton with news that a £3m pilot programme to improve social care in Wolverhampton through self-help has just been launched. It works through a free app called “Better Health: Rewards”, which allocates rewards to users who achieve healthy goals, such as increasing their step count or eating more fruit and vegetables. The incentives for users include vouchers for shops, cinema tickets and gym discounts. The government says the twenty-week trial is the first of its kind in England.
