She’s one of the 800,000 young carers in the UK
I’m Alistair Clarke with news that 16 year old Hannah Brewer from Reigate has hit the headlines in her local area as she’s one of the 800,000 young carers in the UK. Hannah’s big sister, Lucy, has cerebral palsy and she spends around 25 hours a week helping with her care – and she has done since the age of 5. Hannah says although there isn’t help for her as a young carer from the government, her school and family have always been great. For more care news, stay with us here on Care Radio.
