Global veterans’ mental health group opens in time for Armistice Day

Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust says the “Global Veterans and Families Network” should bring together experts from around the world to share best practices and research

I'm John Warburton with news that, in time for Armistice Day, an NHS trust has launched an international group to help improve veterans’ mental health, and that of their families. Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust says the “Global Veterans and Families Network” should bring together experts from around the world to share best practices and research. The trust signed the “Armed Forces Covenant” in 2020, was recognised for being “Veteran Aware” last year, and now has several people in the role of Veterans’ Champions across the organisation. Bosses say veteran support groups are available every day across Norfolk and Suffolk.
