There are significant concerns about mental health and staff retention within social work profession

I’m Matt Rosser with news that a survey has revealed significant concerns about mental health and staff retention within social work profession.
The Social Workers Union which conducted the study says it show a workforce under considerable strain with over half reported a decline in mental health attributable to work. High caseloads, administrative burdens, tight deadlines, and staffing shortages were cited as contributory factors to stress with workloads expected to increase over the coming year.
