New guidance for supporting Black, Asian and minority ethnic carers

The briefing from Carers UK follows the group’s report that found carers from Black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds were more anxious than others about their finances

I'm John Warburton with news that a major charity supporting unpaid carers has just published new principles of good practice for supporting Black, Asian and minority ethnic carers. The briefing from Carers UK follows the group’s report that found carers from Black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds were more anxious than others about their finances, and more likely to be affected by local services closing. The new guidance brings together what the charity, in partnership with Carers Trust, calls “best practice” from many Uk organisations working with minority communities today.
