East Ambulance service declare critical incident

Patients have been urged to call for an ambulance if it’s a  “life-threatening illnesses or injuries”. The service covers Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Essex, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk

I'm James MacDonald with news that the East of England Ambulance Service says it is on stand by to declare a major incident. Patients have been urged to call for an ambulance if it’s a  “life-threatening illnesses or injuries”. The service covers Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Essex, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk and has been under extreme pressure since July. A spokesperson for the service said "We moved to major incident standby on Saturday night and have remained at that level of escalation to enable us to direct our resources and focus on patient care."  For more care news stay with us here at Care Radio.
