Brighton to be Alzheimers friendly

The local council has committed to work towards the Alzheimer’s Society Dementia Friendly Communities scheme

I'm Alistair Clarke with news that there’s calls to make Brighton more friendly for people with Alzheimers and their carers. The local council has committed to work towards the Alzheimer’s Society Dementia Friendly Communities scheme which includes appointing dementia champions, improving training for staff who deal with the public and helping the NHS ensure people get diagnosed with the condition when they develop the signs. And there'll be more on this and other stories here on Care Radio.
